Eye of Horus

Horus is a diety whose domain is the sky. His eyes are the sun and moon. His right eye is the Sun, and his left eye is the Moon. He is said to carry their powers in his sight. He is the son of Osirus and Isis. He is considered to be the Divine ancestor of the Pharaohs, and was held in special reverence by them. The Eye is a symbol of awareness and wisdom, and the Eye of Horus is believed to be a powerful amulet that bestows wisdom and protection on its wearer. The Eye of Horus symbolizes the union of the divine powers with the creatures of the Earth, the falcon being the most important and sacred among them.
